Our NE representatives taught us the greetings in 4 different languages. How's the lesson? Was it fun?
How about the carnival at the tower?

Racial Harmony to me, means that people of different races coming together as one people, one nation. RAcial harmony also teaches us about other people's religions and customs.^^Racial Harmony also makes different races be friends so it prevents riots and all these stuff. That is what racial harmony is to me.

it was okay i guess.
helping out at the Harmony Carnival was actually kind of fun.
but alot of people didn't want to wear their costumes, because they were scared that they would be laughed at.
honestly, i think it would be much better if the whole school could wear their costumes....
During Racial harmony,
i have learnt new languages of different languages through a talk by our ne reps. There was also a Harmony Camp and i enjoyed playing the games there as the people taught me how to play several games.
It was rather interesting and i think that racial harmony can be further improve by adding more games, and more fun things.
I felt that it is very difficult to learn other language as we did not use that language to communicate. I felt that we should learnt one language one year.So,in the 4 years we can learnt 4 different races' language.
Hahas. :D Yeah, Daniel and Qin Han did a great job, they're entertaining la! Lols.
Yep, okays, i din go to the carnival la. :P

Racial harmony to me, means people of different races coming together as one. I found the lesson by Qin Han and Daniel interesting because they taught us the different languages of greetings. As for the harmony carnival, I did not attend it but I think it should be more well informed.

I think that learning the languages of the other races was quite a fun experience since we don't really get to learn them from other places.
I found the lesson by Daniel and Qin Han Very interesting, and very amusing. I learnt many very useful greetings, but i did not go for the racial harmony carnival. I liked the performance during assembly period, especially the ribbon dancing. And for the racial harmony carnival, it should be more well-informed, or involve more students in it.
The NE reps were very funny as the way they said it was very funny.They also taught us alot of words in other languages.Daniel was very funny as the way he said is very weird.Qin Han is also funny because he keep covering his face with the paper.Next year, I hope there is the same activity because it is very fun.To me,racial harmony day is a time for us to have more fun with friends from other races.It also prevents war from happening.The NE reps were really very funny.Hahahahah.
I think the carnival in the tower is good.They present each religion vividly and it also very attractive.It taught us alot of things about each religion and it's history.I think the National Education(NE)Representitive should more open and confident.Danial very shy,keep on covering his face behind his paper.They should also make the class more fun like there must be fun when you learn.

hmmm...i tink its abt getting to noe the other races we live with in singapore..without racial harmony day i bet dat riots would break out cuz there would be misunderstandings n of course many other things...its realli important cuz its important to get to know n recognise the different religions n races here in singapore. there should not be ani racism...it would be such a disappointment but i think dat singaporeans have a good attitude towards this except for some..they should try to appreciate the different races bcuz in some ways or another they contribute a lot to the community and making singapore who she is today..everiwan is equal its juz wad colour we are but even then, i still hope that that won't get in the way of our bonds n relationships...another comment on our NE REPS!!! hahas..this morning, qin han n daniel were realli sporting n went up there they looked so cute trying to pronounce all the words n i bet that we realli appreciated the fact that they tried so hard to actually try n read the words n did not criticise the languages however, i hope that mr ong would realli open up to the thought of allowing the students to wearing ethnic costumes to school so that others are able to see how they look like n maeb arrange one day so that everiwan can take time on that day to taste other races food n play the games.. something like a carnival u know?? that would be cool..i hope the staff would consider this suggestion..

I think that racial harmony,thought me many things.But they should not organise it after school as some people might hav something after school xD.
Racial harmony is also about people from all races coming together and getting along,also learning different cultures.
I think the racial harmony should not organise after school as some people have something on after school. They should also sell some traditional drinks as the weather is very hot. They should have more performance during school hours to help us learn more about other races.

Racial Harmony means getting together and knowing about each other culture and traditional events. This can help increasing our knowledge and understand more about one another. Also, you should make friends with other races. Racial Harmony, means all races untied as one.
I think that racial harmony is a day where different races get together and learn more about the culture of different races.The NE rep has teaches us some greetings using different languges.I think that it is a good chance to learn more about different languges.Wish everyone have a happy Racial Harmony Day.

I think that racial harmony is very important to a multi-racial country as wherever we go, we will meet the people of the different races. Sometimes, we have to talk to other races to know more about their religion.
